AvantWave was invited to join the member product demo session at Bluetooth SIG media briefing held in Korea on 15th June, with focus on the low energy Bluetooth® 4.0 profiles. AvantWave demonstrated the Bluetooth® Music Transceiver-CANTO, which attracted attention of journalists and visitors.

AvantWave has released its new Bluetooth® module - BTR601
AvantWave is pleased to announce its new Bluetooth® module - BTR601, which uses the latest CSR chipset to offer compact and robust design for our customers.
BluetronTM BTR601 is a Bluetooth® module built on CSR BC06 QFN ROM with ROM memory for firmware and application software storage. On board chip antenna and shield can are designed as optional to provide high flexibility.

10-year Anniversary of AvantWave
AvantWave marks its 10-year anniversary. "The evolution of Bluetooth® never moved faster than it has in the last ten years," said Jonathan Lee, CEO of AvantWave Limited, in the celebration ceremony. "When we launched the 1st BQB qualified Bluetooth® Headset in 2003, the possibilities for this new technology were endless and we have gone farther than anyone imagined at the time. We broke ground not only with the way we tell stories, but our technology has enabled us to put the stories out there for consumers in new and innovative ways, all while taking our business into profitability and great success. I can't wait to see what the next ten years hold." Making 10 years is an important milestone, AvantWave gratefully thanks our valuable customers and partners.

Our factory, Sun Fat Electronics & Plastics Factory, has received Letter of Conformance for ISO/TS 16949:2002 on 8 August 2007. AvantWave have satisfactorily addressed the management system requiremnt identified in ISO/TS16949:2002. A special audit will be performed and an ISO/TS 16949:2002 certificate will be issued at that time.
The goal of ISO/TS 16949 is to create a harmonized standard that incorporates existing Automotive Quality Systems requirements into the global economy.
This uniform quality standard for the automobile sector was developed by the International Automotive Task force (IATF) in accordance with ISO 9001. The standard ownership belongs to Italy's ANFIA, France's CCFA/FIEV, Germany VDA and Daimler Chrysler, and the USA's Ford and General Motors.
