Our factory, Sun Fat Electronics & Plastics Factory, has received Letter of Conformance for ISO/TS 16949:2002 on 8 August 2007. AvantWave have satisfactorily addressed the management system requiremnt identified in ISO/TS16949:2002. A special audit will be performed and an ISO/TS 16949:2002 certificate will be issued at that time.
The goal of ISO/TS 16949 is to create a harmonized standard that incorporates existing Automotive Quality Systems requirements into the global economy.
This uniform quality standard for the automobile sector was developed by the International Automotive Task force (IATF) in accordance with ISO 9001. The standard ownership belongs to Italy's ANFIA, France's CCFA/FIEV, Germany VDA and Daimler Chrysler, and the USA's Ford and General Motors.

AvantWave was awarded the Innovative Technology Silver Award, category of Wireless Technology in the HKICT Awards 2006. The HKICT Awards aims to recognize, promote and commend the excellent achievements to which Hong Kong ICT professionals and organizations contribute. This year, around 60 companies participated in 7 award categories. Contesting products are judged according to its innovation, functionality, market performance, optimal use of wireless technology and its social responsibility. Our awarded product, BTR 300S is the world's smallest Bluetooth module with integrated antenna.

AvantWave obtained second phase of funding from the Small Entrepreneur Research Assistant Program (SERAP) granted by the Innovation and Technology Commission (formerly the Industry Department), the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for a project entitled "BlueWave Internet Connection Sharer". The project will apply Bluetooth? Technology to develop wireless connectivity solutions that enable wireless access of a single Internet connection among multiple users.
